Swing Speed

At the down swing , some time I top the ball if I have over swing the body .the

Could it be the down swing is to fast because of over turning the body ?

So far I have hitting good short irons but not long iron like the 3 , 4 and 5 irons i still hitting Slide short .

Any explanation ?

If you are topping, the arms swing down and then you turn your body. #2 Pick out a blade of grass BEHIND the ball and try and hit the grass and not the ball.
