Let me try to explain why the Putting Connection works so well.
How this simple piece of plastic straightens out your swing.
To swing the putter on a straight line, your right shoulder has to tilt up in the backswing. If your shoulders turn, your putter will swing inside your target line.
And as the putter begins to swing back towards the ball in the downswing, it must continue on a straight line. After impact, the left shoulder has to tilt up in the follow through.
Now, as you well know, that's hard to do. That's where the Putting Connection comes in.
The Putting Connection forces the right shoulder to tilt up in the backswing and the left shoulder to tilt up in the follow through.
In other words, the Putting Connection puts you in the putting stroke favored by the PGA Tour. Better still, it trains you to automatically adopt this stroke every time you putt.
Why is that important? Well, by forcing your putting stroke into this pattern, you'll be using your big muscles... your shoulders... your back... your chest... and not just the wrist.
The result? Your stroke is more consistent... more controlled... and your ball goes in the hole more often.
I personally believe that relying on the small wrist, hand and finger muscles in putts is a big cause of the yips. The Putting Connection forces you to use your bigger, stronger muscles and that helps you avoid the thing every golfer fears.

How did the simple golf swing help you:
It helped me by teaching me to stop striving for distance and instead concentrate on adapting a better posture and stance, hitting the ball squarely and concern myself with accuracy. The extra distance part automatically became the end result.
How many strokes did you drop:
With the first tape I dropped 2.7 handicap. The putting tape 3.2 handicap and the chipping/pitching tape another 1.5 handicap for a total of 7.4 from a 24 to a 16.6 handicap.
What happened that you didnt expect:
My ability to focus and concentrate through the shots has increased tenfold. Your methods have helped me adopt a routine which has made my game less eratic and more "business like" at the scoring end!
Why should others try this:
Unlike going out for a lesson with a pro for 40 minutes where you are trying to absorb and adapt to what is taught these dvds can be watched over and over and eventually become "second nature" and automatically applied.

Bobby,
Just a quick follow up. I went to the practice range and worked on the tips you suggested regarding how to setup my driver. I used a stronger grip, focused on a more horizontal swing plane and with some other minor adjustments, I was hitting long and straight. Then, just this past week at our league, I shot my lowest score to date! I moved out of the 50's and into the high 40's.
I am so delighted!
I typically feel pressure to "perform" since we are playing for our team so I usually blow up. But with your system, I was able to focus on specific key points at setup which freed my mind from thinking "what do I adjust now?" For the first time in my life I par'd 4 out of 9 holes and my putting for 9 was 15 because I was able to hit closer to the pin with my approach shots. I am thrilled! I am really looking forward to your other DVD's and have my sights on the low 40's. My dream has always been to play par golf and for the first time ever I can easily see making my dream a reality.
Mark Twain once said that "golf is a good walk spoiled."
Apparently he never had a system like yours! Keep up the great work!
