RE: My golf swing

QUESTION:
I have been a little better since I have been getting your e mails, but I still have one problem. My ball will fly around 175 to 225 yards straight and then start to cut off to the right around 30 to 40 yards. That is the only thing that I really want to fix because when I do hit straight I hit about 280 to 310 yards. Well if you can help PLEASE get back with me...

Thanks Randall

RE: Re: Chad, Driver Special Report

QUESTION:
David, I played a rounded yesterday Wednesday November 22, 2006. I played just hitting my irons. I did better on drives with a 3 or 4 iron topflite than a 1 wood. I shot a 95 but I'm still slicing to the left (I’m left handed). I believe I'm pulling my head out trying to see the ball. Do you recommend just playing with my irons? Have a good Thanksgiving

RE: Re: Joe, This week's tip - Approach Shots

QUESTION:
Dear David,

I am a beginning golfer and, although I have figured out my swing with my irons and wedges, I have still not been able to fix my wicked slice off the tee with the longer clubs. Do you have any pointers?

Thank you,

QUESTION:
Hello,

I am having a couple of problems with the swing since I watched your full swing and driver DVD's and they haven’t improved my game as of yet. I am sure they will however. As you no I am a high handicapper and really need help with my game as I am the laughing stock of my playing group and I am starting to take golf seriously could you please give me some more tips to improve my game drastically.

Thanks,

RE: Re: Terrence, How to Get Out of a Buried Lie

QUESTION:
Thanks David, great tip! Now I have a question. I have seemed to have cured my little slice, but now I am pushing the ball to the right. Are my hands ahead of my hips and body? At the point of impact, what should travel through the impact zone first, the hips (body) or the hands?? Thanks!
Asked by Terry Shaw on 2007-01-05 07:58:00

ANSWER:
Thanks for your e-mail…the hands if you are pushing…make sure the club continues on the arc.

RE: Serious Slice Issues

QUESTION:
Hi David,

I love the regular e-mails, thank you very much. However my massive issue is with a serious slice off the tee and with longer irons up to 6 iron from the fairway or from the tee. I'm a 26 handicapper, a learner driver so to speak!

I could hit a ball off the tee and watch it go high, decently long and straight and as I go to turn away thinking I have just hit a scorcher the ball takes a massive dive to the right, so much so that it would almost always cost me shot because of the distance off line to the right it takes!!!!! Please, please assist me before I take up Tennis!
Kind regards,
Robbie Matthews
