Hi Bobby,

I have been out practicing your swing, I can't believe the improvement in just a couple of sessions.

I am hitting the ball consistantly with a square club face and grouping the balls like never before, after pacing the distance I find I have hit it at least 10 yards further with a great ball flight, can't wait to take this swing out onto the course. I have already knocked shots off following the short game dvd, I am getting closer to the pin than I have ever done and consistantly.if its like this in just a short time.

I took my new swing on the course today and broke 90 for the first time. At last the ball is going where I want it to.

I feel more in control of my swing now, and I am actually hitting it further with less effort. now I have the problem, do I tell my golf pals about it, or do I keep quiet and keep taking the money(ha! ha!)

Thank you so much, if I have improved this much in such a short time, can't wait to see how I am 6months down the line. The swing has given me so much more confidence.

Hi Bobby,

Just wanted to check in and let you know I had the best round of golf today that I've ever had. And it's all because of the PurePoint Golf Swing.

My handicap as of this morning was 23. And I've been stuck on that for 2 years.

I played the first nine with 26 stableford points (Australian) which was 38 off the stick (36 par).

Only 2 bogeys. 2 birdies, 5 pars.

Second nine, off the stick - 43. Total 81 on a 71 par course.

The other three were amazed. It works! My drives were all straight, and with my 3 wood I outdrove their drivers (one of them a 14 handicapper hitting a 360cc driver) on 2 occasions,

Just had to let you know and thank you. My approach shots are a thing of beauty now.

I heartily endorse your PurePoint Golf Swing. It's the anwser for any high handicapper.

I stood on the Tee Sat. afternoon and all the hints you talked about kept on popping up in by head ( pull, push, slice and hook )

I had the best round of the year and had the best run of pars ever - 7 in a row on the back nine. Only 1 drop on 17 and ending with a birdie at the last hole.

It was also the best in driving I had this year in 12 out of 14 Fairways. (5/7 first nine and 7/7 back nine) The setup helped and made sense. I used the Iron setup with the driver before . The first 2 Fairways were missed with a bit of a hook but once I made the corrections mentally it went better. This was my lowest score for the last 2 years. 38 front nine and 36 back nine ( needless to say I won the competition on a net 66 from a 8 handicap).

Thanks for the tips and instruction.

Now it is up to me to try and keep it together and try to make my goal I set to myself to make the scratch league team for next year.

Hi Bobby, My 12 year old son recently got a starter set of golf clubs, and since he was picking up the game, I decided to get a set of clubs.

I played my first round of 18 holes on Monday and knew I needed some instruction.

I purchased your DVD this morning, watched it and practiced the five steps at the driving range today at lunch time.

WOW! What a difference!

I'm hitting straight shots consistantly.

I can't wait to continue to practice at the range. I look forward to playing my next round of golf with confidence.

Thanks for putting together an INFORMATIVE DVD for the working parent!

"I'm a true believer of your methods"

Bonjour Bobby!

I have already ordered the DVD you’re talking about in your orginal message! I also bought the two others and I want to thank you sincerely for what you do for golfers!

Last Sunday, on father’s day, for the first time in my life, I broke the « 90 » barrier (89 to be exact – I’m normally playing around 97-98), just applying your short game concept and being sure that I’m doing my pre-shot routine properly on each shot!

I still have to practice to be more consistent at this aspect of the game, but so far, the results are great!

Besides, I’m anxious to apply the « full swing » and the « consistency off the tee ». I just need time to go to the practice range and also to listen to your DVDs again anda gain to put all this stuff into my brain!

In any case, I’m a true believer of your methods and I hope to improve some more in the future!

So, thanks again, I look more like a true golfer now… because of you guys!

Finally, sorry for my English. As a French-Canadian, I’m not fluently bilingual, but I’m trying my best!

Subject: UPDATE

Bobby - Well, as I said in my letter, I got this system at the end of the golf year. I ended my year with a local course handicap of 16. I spent the winter and spring studying the DVDs, going to a driving range with heated stalls and practicing every chance I got. I didn't want to get back to you without having more data. Here is the update:

Right from the start of this year, I could tell things were going to be different. Though I have had my "blow-up" rounds, they have been in the low to mid 90's. However, my scores were much more consistantly in the low to mid 80's. It didn't take long before I broke 80 for the first time in many years. Since then, I have had several in the high 70's. I had also set my goal for the entire year of going from my season-ending 16 to a single-digit handicap on my home course. Right now, I am VERY close. My GHIN is 8.4 and I am a 10 locally. I am hitting an average of 10.7 out of 14 fairways, and am up to an average of 9.2 greens up from 3.6 last year. I also have gone from having three to four 3-putts per round to going three to four rounds between 3-putts.

As I said before, I still have my blow-up rounds where I don't feel like I have had a club in my hands before and/or feel like I am putting with a hockey stick, but they are fewer and further between. So far this year, I have played over 30 rounds and have a high score of 93 and a low of 76. My goal of 75 or less was missed on that round by a fat shot from 178 going for the par-5 18th in 2 and ending up in a ditch that fronts the green.

I want to thank you for this series of DVDs and look forward to future ones. After (not if) I hit my 75 goal, I am not sure what my next will be. I will be 47 of the 19th of June (less than two days at this writing) - is the Senior Tour too much to dream for? Just Kidding ... or am I?!?!

Bobby:

I purchased your short game DVD 40 yards and closer and was very happy to get such great results in such a short time. It has cut a least 6-8 strokes a round off my game.

I'm 66 years old and have been struggling to to get off my 18 handicap and have found the short game is getting the job done. I just broke 80 couple weeks ago and shooting in low 80's consistently now. I feel that it has given so much more confidence getting the ball close to the pin and putting has improved along with it.

Your DVD is much better than anything out there and I want you to know how good it really is. Thank you an keep up the good work.

Hi again, Bobby,

I have written two testimonials, and delivered one audio testimonial to your phone service, but I just had to write again to tell you of another happy realization I had during my last round.

NO MORE BURRS IN MY SOCKS! I realaized, as my playing partner was picking burrs from his socks after looking in deep rough for his errant shot, that I have not had to thrash around in the heavy Texas rough for my ball since adopting your swing fundamentals. That is, unless I go in there to help a fellow player look for his ball. My feeling now is, why should I? I would rather give them a lesson in what I have learned, than to go through that anymore.

I just wanted to share this nice little perk that came with learning some of your swing system. Maybe this feeling will wear off at some point, but now, in some ways, I feel like a sort of golf missionary zealot about your system, because of the immediate and excellent results I have experienced. Thanks again.

Bobby,

This is the greatest information that I have connected with about a golf swing. I have order other DVD & tapes, taken lessons, but your information is so easy to understand and WORKS so well. I have lowered my score by 10 strokes after watching your DVD three times and range practice twice. I was always shooting in the low 100 and the fist time out I shot 90 and missed a couple of putts that lipped out, but the greatest thing was that I beat my regular buddies for the first time. The second time out, was in a best ball scramble and we used 90% of my shots and had a closes to the pin and longest drive. I can't thank you enough for this information. If I can make it to Arizona for a couple of days I intend to sign up for your school.

Thanks,Thanks,Thanks.

I'm 69 years old with a 15 handicap. In my younger days I carried a 5 handicap, but following surgery on both shoulders, I played little for about 10 years. Since I resumed playing on a regular basis 11 years ago, I have not been able to regain the same ball-striking consistency I used to have.

I realize this is, in part, due to my age and sheer physical degradation. However, your DVD has enabled me to focus on the basics better than any tutorial I have seen, including Jack's "Golf My Way." Since watching the DVD and using your suggestions, especially the backswing 90º to the spine angle, I have been playing much better, hitting almost all my shots much straighter and more solidly. I still lift my left heel, but you can't teach an old dog too many new tricks all at once!

First, I tried your method out at the driving range. Then, feeling comfortable with my swing, I took it to the course. I immediately shot 81 (which included a triple bogey), then I had a 79 (which also included a triple bogey!) on a tough course where I had never before broken 80. I hit or was on the fringe of 13 greens. To cap off the round I birdied three of the last five holes (which is a personal record).

I hope this isn't just a "flash in the pan" but I don't think so. There are so few key points to concentrate on at address. At my age, it's best if there aren't too many things to remember!

Thank you,

Pete Brennan

I believe you are on the right track and I believe that ball position is the most important part in golf, if we can find the bottom of the swing, and set up to that point, the game is much easier.

It is very easy to see what others do wrong even minor errors, we have two sons, two grandsons who are great golfers and have won many small awards and club champions, one has played in the US Mid Am three times. In another life, I may return to teach this great game to others.

Subject: Re: Joseph, The Backswing that Increases Consistency

I went back and reviewed the driver dvd and it helps tremendously. Now I am getting about 25 yards more on by drives. I still have the problem of pushing the ball sometimes. I think it is because I am not finishing the swing to the left side (3rd base). This happens on certain hole and seems to be an aversion to hitting near a water hazard on that hole. I did change my grip to the so-called "Optimum" grip and have found it is easier for me to get my hands through more easily and consistently. If I concentrate on where the ball is supposed to go and make sure I swing through, my drives are going straight and about 225 to 250 yards, which is quite an improvement for an old man of 66. The only miss hit I have had with my driver on the last two rounds was a little on the toe, but I completed the swing and ended up on line and about 220 yards with a slight draw. This is a big change from topping or hitting on the heel. The instruction about standing straighter and extending the arms helped the most to correct the problem.

Hi Bobby,

Firstly would like to thank you for producing the PurePoint Swing program. When I originally purchased it, was playing off of a 9/10 handicap, and as you point out the lower the handicap you are, you are likely to only take parts of what you suggest to incorporate in my own technique, well I am happy to report that following some, not all of your tips am now playing off of a 7 handicap.Personally I take this as quite an achievement as I did not start playing golf until I was 42/43, now just passed 53.

I know in some peoples eyes 10 years is more than enough to achieve this kind of handicap, but I play with guys who have played a lot longer than me and are still 20+ handicappers, I have tried to help these people out over the course of time, even showed them your simple set-up routine, I stress the "Simple" part, but I don't know if they really want to improve or not because they seem to be ok with the consistent "DUFF" shots they make, so I keep quiet now.

I set myself a target 2 years ago to get down to a single figure handicap and to play the best golf.I could before age caught me up and affected my game somewhat, and have to say I would probably not have achieved it without your "Simple" assistance.

Hope I can report a further decrease in handicap in the future.

Bobby I wrote to you last week speaking of my frustration. You wrote back with some good calming advice, which I took to the range and worked on.

Today I played in a fundraising tournament here in Baltimore, using a straight golf handicap format. I carry a 16 handicap.

The first two holes I bogied bogied. My partner asked what was going on as it seemed to him that I was really stiff, taking half swings, but then trying to crush the ball.

So I sat down, calmed down, and on the next hole tried to invision not the golf course but the practice range, and I went through the steps, and concentrated not on where the ball went but were the golf club went to strike the ball. All of sudden things began to make sense. I shot a 77 today, (gross), and had a closet to the pin on a par three hole. This may not sound like much, but until today, I considered breaking 90 a good day, and I have never hit a golf ball close to anything that I aimed for. My partner wants some of the medicine that I took on the third hole, I gave him your email and purchasing information.

Bobby thank you, for giving me the tools to not only stop a bad round and get some control on the course, but, well having a reusable commodity that I can use to do that. As far as I am concerned this was the best money that I have ever spent. I know that this process is long from over, but I wanted to know what you have really given to me. This week I am excited about golf again.

Dear Bobby,

I was able to practice your system after reading for 3 days at the driving range (2 hours/day starting last Wednesday). It had a positive effect on my swing and accuracy. To verify the effectiveness, I played last Saturday equipped with the new system. I'm 100% on fairway, made few greens in regulation and mostly around the green 20 yards less. NO BUNKERS! NO WATER HAZARDS! NO ROUGHS! I scored 86, but could have done it better. It's not because I played 2 holes badly, it was probably I underestimated my newly learnt swing. Guess what, 150 yards left on the 1st hole for my second shot. I picked up my 7-iron wind condition was calm and it went straight to the pin but landed at the very top of the green and rolled over for 30-yards!!! Again, same thing happened on hole # 2. A short par 4 and I was 125 yards and pickup my 9-iron again as my normal club to use between 125-130 yards, the ball went straight at the pin and over shoot the green.

Twice I used too much club!!! I never over shoot the green with my normal clubs and distance before. From there I was beginning to managed properly and use the appropriate club for every approach shot. It brings a new strategy to my game. Now, I'm probably going to recalibrate my distance.
This is wonderful and the hassles I went in getting your system along with patience paid-off well. Now I'm going to read all the bonus items and hopefully bring my game to a better level. Thank you very much!!!

Best regards,

Lino

P.S.

The Mental Preparation Bonus was of a big help. I thought about it before making a shot.

I have to say that i was dubious that i was going to find a solution to a really annoying slice i had developed, especially from the internet! I am quite stubborn and think that if it is something that i have picked up i should be able to rectify without help. I found your site and recieved a few tips from the first chapter of your book. I am not much of a reader when it comes to self help books, i generally prefer to go straight to the problem and physically fix it rather than mentally, boy am i glad i thought otherwise - it made sense and seeing the swing in action in a recent email just made it all come together. I am hitting consistantly again, and am able to know what i did to cause the slice or hook. I am enjoying playing an EFFORTLESS game and getting the yardage i want rather than what i have to make do with.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Just sorry i didn't buy your book - "PurePoint Golf", shows that i wasn't to far off solving the problem!

Once again thanks.

After reading your email (lesson #1) I took it to the driving range and I was amazed, hit 40 balls with various clubs and didn't slice any shot, several went straight and the majority had a slight draw. I actually hit several 300 plus drives (haven't been able to do that for many years). I have all your DVD programs and look forward to watching your upcoming draw DVD.
