Dear Fellow Golfer,
You know what I mean by “trouble”.
That’s when your ball ends up in the tall fescue instead of on the
fairway.
Or halfway down a hill that seems to have turned into a mountain since the last time you played this course.
Or you drive one so deep into woods you figure the only way through those trees is with a chainsaw...and you don’t happen to have one in your bag.
Friend, that’s trouble. No golfer goes looking for it. But, trust me, trouble will find you eventually. And when it does, there goes your score.
Even the top tour pros run into trouble now and then. The difference between them and the high handicap golfer is that they know how to get out of it.
You’ll become so good at these “impossible” shots, your buddies will claim you get into trouble on purpose so you can show off.
And I want to send it to you free.
In just a minute, I’ll explain.
But first, I want to tell you about this DVD.
In it, I cover the nine most common troublesome situations you’re likely to run into on a course and show you how to hit your way out of them. I’ll show you which clubs to use and teach you the simple technique that will get you back to the green with the fewest strokes.
It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense course on how to get out of trouble on the course. I think it’s one of the best DVDs we’ve ever done.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll learn:
How to hit from a hard pan lie.
Unless you’re playing in a swamp, you’ll come across plenty of these. Even the most well-maintained courses have a few hard pan spots.
I’ll show you...
How to hit from the deep rough.
This one is tough because the grass seems to be trying to reach
up and grab your club. It actually does get wrapped around the hosel so you’re not just swinging the club...you’re pulling along the turf.
I’ll teach you how to...
How to hit into the wind.
If you don’t think wind can be a factor in your game, just remember
what it did to Paul Goydos at the 2008 Players. Or how it blew Phil Mickelson off the leader board in the same tournament.
And even though the wind may not be a big deal where you play, you never know when you might be playing in a different part of the world.
Or if this crazy weather we’ve been having will change conditions where you usually play.
You need to know this shot. I’ll make sure you do.
You’ll learn...
How to hit downwind.
Maybe you love it when the wind is at your back. A lot of golfers do
because they think the wind will give them a little extra distance.
Well, it will. But it can also take your ball someplace you don’t want it to go. That jungle over to your right, for instance.
I’ll show you how to add extra control to the ball so it goes straight.
I’ll also show you...
How to hit punch shots.
I’m convinced the reason so many amateurs are bad at these is because they never practice them. Then when they have to get the ball
through the trees, they take out the biggest club in their bag and try to
fly it out.
Maybe you aren’t the average golfer and you don’t live under the trees like most do. But if you do find yourself spending a considerable amount of time in the forest, learning this shot will help you see more of the green.
I’ll help you...
Using the right club is only half the solution.
How to hit flop shots.
Most amateurs love these things. They must; they seem to want
to try and flop everything.
But not every short shot should be a flop. It’s really difficult from the rough or from a hard pan lie.
And most of the time, it just plain doesn’t work. The ground is much safer than the air and that’s something most high handicap golfers never learn.
I’ll teach you a flop shot that actually gets the ball where it’s supposed to go and keeps it from running once it gets there. But that’s not all you’ll learn...
How to hit from uneven lies.
I never played on a course that was as flat as a pancake and never expect to. Every course I’ve ever seen has little hills and valleys.
So unless you play in a parking lot, you need to know how to hit from uneven lies.
I’ll teach you how to handle the big four in uneven lies: when the ball is above your feet, when it’s below them, when the ball is uphill and
when it’s downhill.
I give each lie its own special segment. Because each one is
a different situation.
Here’s what you’ll get from my DVD...
The payoff? You’ll hit more solid shots with the ball flying straighter and further. Plus, you won’t be playing the guessing game with your clubs any more. You’ll know exactly which club to use for each different lie.
How to hit draw and fade shots.
I know. I devoted a whole video to the draw and probably ought to
do one on fade shots. I wanted to include them in this DVD because they
can help you get out of trouble time-after-time.
What I cover in this DVD isn’t the whole story on either shot. But
it’ll be enough to get you closer to the pin.
I’ll show you...
That’s just a quick overview of the DVD. Now, do I want you to
go out and master each segment in order?
Heck no. That’s too much like work and I know you probably
wouldn’t do it anyway.
So instead if I were you, I’d pick the shot that was giving me the most trouble and work on it till I got better. Then, I’d go on to the next and so on. Just do one at a time; get the mechanics down and go out and practice.
Of course, before you do any of that, you have to let me send you the video.
That’s right, my new Trouble Shots DVD is yours free with your
enrollment.
I’ll just ask you to pay for shipping it. That’s about seven bucks.
And since we sell most of my DVDs from $47 to $72, I’d call that a bargain.
Now, just what the heck is this Apprentice Program?
It’s the program I started for average golfers who want to be better golfers.
Being an Apprentice is like having your own personal pro to show you step-by-step how to lower your score significantly and become the kind of golfer you want to be.
Best thing about it, is that it that you can learn how to shave
strokes from the convenience of your office...your home...your course...or wherever you play or practice. And at your own pace.
In my Apprentice Program, I share just about everything I’ve learned about the game in over 30 years of teaching. Everything from what equipment you’ll need to get started.. to advanced stuff like how to blast your way out of a bunker.
I concentrate on teaching the right swing and provide practice drills to burn the mechanics right into the brain. (It doesn’t hurt nearly as much as it sounds, I promise.)
Every month, we’ll concentrate on a specific part of the game.
By the end of the month, you’ll have mastered that part. I’ll make sure
you get there.
Because I’ll be with you every step of the way...answering
your questions...following your progress...and talking you through any problems you might be having.
If you’re familiar with my Apprentice Program and have been sitting on the

Live Teleseminars
Every month, we’ll get together for a live teleseminar and discuss the topic of the month. We’ll talk about what that specific area of the game can do to improve your score. I’ll answer any questions you have on the subject and help you with specific situations. I’ll also share my theories on all the individual pieces that make up great golf. This is your chance to learn and interact with me directly. (and we'll record the seminar so you can come back to the site and listen anytime or you can download an MP3 version to take to the range).
Interviews - I’ll interview
a special guest who has specific expertise in the subject
we’re coving that month. You’ll be able to hear
the interview via downloadable MP3 format. I’ve got
one of the top touring pros lined up already and plan to have
many more.

So I guess your only question now is...
Well, no. It’s just that I’m trying to give you a big incentive to join my Apprentice Program.
But first, I have to figure out why it is you haven’t yet joined.
Maybe I’ve made it sound like the Program is only for really good golfers and you wouldn’t exactly put yourself in that category.
Or maybe I’ve made it sound like it was just too much work or would take up too much time.
Well, friend, I want to clear up those misconceptions right now.
My Apprentice Program is for the average golfer who wants to be a better golfer.
Is it all work and no play? Does it take up all your spare time?
Why, heck no!
The whole idea is to make the game more fun.
One of the ways we do that is invite you to join a virtual community of golfers just like you. So you realize you’re not in this all by yourself.
Another way is to give you a chance to talk things over with me.
Something we haven’t figured out how to do yet in the DVD.
I’ve tried to make the Apprentice Program as convenient for you as possible. But at the end of the day, how much time and effort you put into it is strictly up to you.
It all depends on how good a golfer you want to be.
Of course, when you’re playing up to your potential, the game will be more fun than you ever imagined. And my Apprentice Program was created to help you do just that.
So why not...
No way you can lose.
Not with a deal like this one. You get one of the best DVDs we’ve ever offered for FREE. All you pay is shipping charges. What’s more, you’re enrolled in my Apprentice Program for just $14.97 a month. Remember, you can cancel your membership at any time and the Trouble Shots DVD is yours to keep.
But you'll have to hurry.
I’m holding a spot for you in the Program, but I can’t say how much longer I’ll be able to do that.
You see, I have to limit the number of apprentices I take on. After all, I can’t offer personalized attention to every member if there are too many members.
So if you want my advice, it would be to sign up today. All you have to do is

I stood on the Tee Sat. afternoon and all the hints you talked about kept on popping up in by head ( pull, push, slice and hook )
I had the best round of the year and had the best run of pars ever - 7 in a row on the back nine. Only 1 drop on 17 and ending with a birdie at the last hole.
It was also the best in driving I had this year in 12 out of 14 Fairways. (5/7 first nine and 7/7 back nine) The setup helped and made sense. I used the Iron setup with the driver before . The first 2 Fairways were missed with a bit of a hook but once I made the corrections mentally it went better. This was my lowest score for the last 2 years. 38 front nine and 36 back nine ( needless to say I won the competition on a net 66 from a 8 handicap).
Thanks for the tips and instruction.
Now it is up to me to try and keep it together and try to make my goal I set to myself to make the scratch league team for next year.

Hi Bobby, My 12 year old son recently got a starter set of golf clubs, and since he was picking up the game, I decided to get a set of clubs.
I played my first round of 18 holes on Monday and knew I needed some instruction.
I purchased your DVD this morning, watched it and practiced the five steps at the driving range today at lunch time.
WOW! What a difference!
I'm hitting straight shots consistantly.
I can't wait to continue to practice at the range. I look forward to playing my next round of golf with confidence.
Thanks for putting together an INFORMATIVE DVD for the working parent!

Just a note to let you know I received your cd's and feel you did an excellent job of discussing about all the necessary areas for improving your game.
I am 79 years young and have dropped from the upper 90's …to the middle 80's…I started playing some 12 years ago and now feel MORE CONFIDENT IN MY GAME AND THE JOY OF PLAYING GOLF IS GREAT.
THANK YOU.
